You’ve just completed an Emotion Code ® and/or Body Code ® session. Now what?
While it is perfectly fine to continue in your daily life without interruption, you may want to consider doing one or more of the following, as a way to continue honoring your body and the process of releasing trapped energies and emotions.
Drink water - more than usual. Adding a pinch of sea salt or electrolytes can also help.
Notice the next 24-36+ hours - you may experience some tiredness, emotional fatigue, sensitivity, or physical changes. However, most sessions result in a feeling of lightness of the shoulders, breathing easier, or being less emotionally triggered. All of this is normal. If anything concerns you, please contact me.
Physical Discomfort: After doing a body code(R) session, you may find that your symptoms alleviate and then return. That is normal and it's your body showing you that you're on the right path and continued sessions with lead to continued and long lasting improvements.
Creative Outlet - You may find it helpful to journal about your experience or anything you notice during the days following your session. You may also be compelled to create art or movement - do what feels best for your mind and body.
Self care - Be compassionate with yourself. Notice things you want or need: sleep, time in nature, time alone, creating art etc. If you are thinking of someone, consider reaching out to them or sending a positive thought to them - including yourself.
Heart Wall ® - Clearing a Heart Wall ® may cause heightened feelings of empathy or sympathy. When the heart can connect more, it may feel joyous or vulnerable, so be gentle.
Sleep - You may be tired, so rest if your body needs it. Notice your dreams tonight. You may also find that you need more sleep over the next few days.
Movement: After a session, you may find that yoga, stretching, or any other kind of movement is what your body needs in order to continue processing the release of the emotions and energies from our session.
Action: If an intuitive action or recommendation came up in your session (add/delete a color from your environment, connect with friends, read an affirmation, go for a walk, eat/drink). The action came up in the session at this time for your benefit. It can make a difference.
The next session can typically be in 3-4 days, after your body has had processing time. Sessions are meant to meet your needs, so we can revisit a previous issue and continue releasing trapped energy (if not fully released), or move onto any other issue in your life.
Schedule Recommendation: Scheduling sessions regularly can get the body into a rhythm of clearing and rebalancing. It can sometimes take several sessions to release all of the trapped energy causing one issue, so coming regularly can help alleviate issues faster. However, if regularity isn’t an option, the healing will work at any interval.
